LITTLE GEMS celebrates small original artworks by fifteen contemporary artists. The concept behind the show is how beauty in a small format can escalate its special and compelling qualities. Four 5" x 7" monotypes of rockweed from my Cuttyhunk series will be part of this exhibit, one on view and the other three as part of a portfolio.

My studio opened for two days in May as part of Somerville Open Studios. This spring I returned to painting trees. Images of spring trees in full bloom and trees with sunlight filtering through the leaves are the subject of my latest series.
